NTTA Fleet Fueling Station – Plano
Project Name and Location:
Design-Build for improvements of AST fleet fueling system located at the North Texas Tollway Authority’s (NTTA) Plano Maintenance Service Center.
Project Description:
SSCI was contracted by the NTTA to update the existing fueling system, increase leak detection capabilities and install a new fuel management system that would operate using existing employee ID card readers. SSCI prepared engineered plans and specifications and provided construction services for the new system. The system is able to recognize and record: each employee who fuels, the fuel quantity pumped and the equipment fueled up. If a leak is detected in any of the secondary containment devices, the improved leak detection system shuts down the system and sounds an alarm.
